1-Methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) is a cyclopropene derivative used in the synthesis of plant growth regulators. It is structurally related to the natural plant hormone ethylene.
Application
For use in confined spaces, to extend the life of cut and potted flowering, and other, plants, and of harvested fruit and vegetables. Formulated as 1-MCP 1% SL, 1-MCP 0.2% Tablet, and released as a gas when the product is added to water.
